My name is Sandra. And I created Ube & Chill because I really needed it.

I'm like you: 25 years old, active, a bit everywhere at once.

Always a little tired, never really offline.

I work, I scroll, I run. And like many, I sometimes forget about myself.

A few years ago, I spent several weeks in the Philippines on a humanitarian mission—a real break from it all. No emails, no subway, no latte-to-go. One evening, a woman introduced me to a hot drink made with ube , that purple yam so common in Filipino cuisine.

The color surprised me: a natural purple . The taste too: sweet, slightly vanilla and nutty .

Back in Paris, nothing had really changed. Except me.

Coffee after coffee, screen after screen, the usual rush... but I kept in mind this memory of a purple latte discovered in the Philippines : a natural color, a sweet taste , slightly vanilla and nutty .

I looked for ube in France. I couldn't find it.

So I tested, failed, started again. Little by little, I created what I couldn't find anywhere else:

a simple, culinary ingredient, inspired by the Philippines.

Not a “big brand.” Just an answer to a question of taste:

What if we added a little purple to our recipes?
